Gregory was born on May 8, 1952, in Dodge City, Kansas to John Whiting and Mary Lou Sapp. He served 6 years in the United States Army and will be remembered for his love of service and his country. He is preceded in death by brother Glenn Whiting and sister Janie Whiting Duke and survived by brother Gary Whiting. He is survived by daughter Nicole Littrell, son John Whiting, stepson Justin Carter, and 5 grandchildren (Kaley, Colston, Ian, Emma, and Dylan).
Gregory passed on April 5, 2021 at the age of 68 at his home in Nevada, TX. He will be fondly remembered by all those that loved him as the tinkerer, dreamer, and proud patriot he was.
