Jaxon Kaleb Starling

November 17, 2007 - February 8, 2024 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Jaxon Kaleb Starling, who left this world surrounded by the love of his family on February 8, 2024. Jaxon was born on November 17, 2007, in Marshall, Texas, and later moved with his family to Frisco, Texas, where he thrived and touched the lives of all who knew him. He was the fourth son of six boys, Marquis Starling, Jeremiah William, I’Javin Roberts, Jayden Roberts and Kaiden Starling. Jaxon, affectionately known as Jax-Jax, Cornbread, Jax the Great, or "The Jaxon,” as he called himself was a selfless young man with a heart of gold. He had an infectious spirit and a unique ability to make others happy, always bringing smiles to their faces. Jaxon was an adventurer, always seeking new experiences, and his compassion knew no bounds. Throughout his battle with cancer, he constantly ensured the well-being of those around him, putting their needs before his own. Jaxon had an array of interests that reflected his adventurous nature. He excelled in sports, particularly soccer and track, and always embraced friendly competition. Gaming was another one of his passions, and he could be found engrossed in virtual realms, conquering challenges, and connecting with friends. However, he also appreciated the simple treasures of life, such as fishing and spending time in the great outdoors, where he felt closest to nature. Music held a special place in Jaxon's heart as well. He found solace in listening to artists like Bruno Mars and Imagine Dragons, but more importantly, he created his own beats and instrumental compositions, allowing his soul to express its beauty through rhythm and melody. He had an ear for catchy jingles and often entertained his loved ones with his creative musicality. Jaxon was a beacon of light to those in need, always extending a helping hand. He dedicated his time and energy to positively impacting the lives of others by crafting pipe cleaners for children in hospitals, spreading joy and smiles to those who needed them most. His involvement with organizations like Wipe Out Kids Cancer and Children's Cancer Fund demonstrated his passion and commitment to raising awareness about childhood cancer. He is preceded in death by his Great Grandparents Luster Sr. and Obera McGlothin, Grandfather Luster McGlothin Jr., Great Grandmother Gussie Survia, Aunt Barbara Walker, and his beloved pet guinea pig Moon. Jaxon's memory and legacy will be forever cherished by his parents, Jason and Shay Roberts of Frisco, TX, who provided unwavering love and support throughout his journey. He will also be deeply missed by his brothers, Marquis Starling of Arlington, TX, Jeremiah Williams (USAF), I'Javin Roberts of Frisco, TX, Jayden Roberts of Frisco, TX, and Kaiden Starling of Longview, TX, who shared countless cherished moments and created lifelong memories together. In addition, Jaxon leaves behind his Grandparents, an honorary Grandfather John and Diannah McGlothin, and a wide circle of special Aunts and Uncles. A host of Cousins and 2 very special school friends Jake and Brandon. Members of Children’s Hospital – (Dalla) CCBD Team, all of whom were touched by his kindness and infectious spirit. While our hearts ache with sorrow, let us remember the joy and love that Jaxon brought into our lives. May his spirit forever inspire us to be selfless, adventurous, and compassionate, just as he was. Jaxon's light will continue to shine brightly in our hearts, guiding us through the darkness, and reminding us to cherish every moment of this precious life.
