Patricia Omar Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Patricia Lynn Omar (62) of Plano, TX passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 4th, 2014. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 12th, 1952 to Irvin and Margaret Pollock. Lynn was well known for her generosity, and kindness: She greeted everyone with an unbarred heart, and open arms. She worked hard to provide for her family, and never asked for anything in return. Knitting, crafting, and drawing were just a few of her favorite things to do. Traveling to the most beautiful cities and capturing photos of the marvelous scenery and sunsets was very common for Lynn as she loved sharing her journeys with her children. She was a humble woman, content and happy with what she had: all she needed was her boys, Daniel, Adam, and Noah. They loved spending quality time with their mother, sharing stories, and creating cherished memories. Lynn has now traveled home to be with her parents, and her gracious soul will be held forever in the hearts of many. She is survived by her husband of 14 years Allan V. Pettit, four siblings, three sons, and two grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents. Special thanks and a great token of gratitude to the incredibly honorable Allan V. Pettit who was by Lynn's side through thick and thin. A memorial service for Lynn will be held in the Distinctive Life Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, May 10th at 11:00 AM 1611 N.
