Vester Fay Clay Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Vester Fay Clay, known to most as "Clay", born January 18th, 1941, passed peacefully on April 8, 2016, at his home in Galveston, Tx. Born in Transylvania, Louisiana, Clay travelled the world working as a Startup Manager for various Oil & Gas Companies. Possessing a keen wit with a great sense of observation, Clay never met a stranger and greatly enjoyed meeting all kinds of people. Clay enjoyed fishing and outdoor life and a talent for photography allowed him to capture many of the beautiful locales he travelled to. Predeceased by his parents, John Marcus Clay & Ruby Dell Barnes, as well as brothers, Marcus Lamar Clay & Clarence "Ansel" Clay. He is survived by brothers, Billy Ray Clay of Galveston & Harry Don Clay of Ark. He is also survived by his children, Margie Langmead (Tom) of Wimberley, TX, Mike Jones (Debbie) of Moncks Court, South Carolina & Katherine Hennigan of Baytown, TX and grandchildren, Thomas Langmead (USMC), Elizbeth Langmead, Blake Jones, Jared & Jacob Hennigan and 2 great grandchildren, Dakota & Kolton Hennigan. A service will be held on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 12:45 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038, with Military Honors.
