Concepcion Plazaola Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Concepcion "Conchita" Plazaola went to heaven on Saturday, August 8, 2015, at the age of 92. Funeral Mass will begin at three o'clock, Saturday, August 15th, with Memorial Service immediately thereafter to be held at Saint John Lutheran Church, 409 West Ben White, Austin, TX 78704. Conchita was born on November 16, 1922, in Bluefields, Nicaragua to Agustin and Juana (Mena) Guadamuz. She lived in Miami, Florida; Arlington, Virginia; and Austin, Texas throughout her lifetime. Conchita loved to travel; it was her favorite thing to do! She visited Mexico, all of Central and South America, and Europe. She loved to play canasta and watch her novelas. One of her favorite cartoons was Tom & Jerry, and towards the end of her lifetime, her favorite channel to watch was the Disney Channel. Conchita was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Angel Plazaola Sr.; son, Angel Rene; grand-daughter, Brenda Ninoska; and one sister, Aminta Guadamuz vudia de Mairena. Those left to cherish her memory are her six children, Xiomara Auxiliadora, Jose Angel Jr., Nydia Magdalena, Brenda Concepcion, Jorge Manuel and Jose Abraham; 21 grandchildren, Ricky, Jose Angel III, Myriam, Isaac, Anielka, Alvaro, Frank, Edwin, Edward, Nydia, Thelma, Bayardo, Gema, Jasmine, Abraham, Eduardo, Lygia, Sandra, Steve, Esmeralda, & Carlos Ernesto; 27 great grandchildren; and her brother, Carlos Eduardo, his wife, Francisca, and his children. Xiomara and Ricky would like to thank her niece, Mary Pong, and family for always caring for their Tia Conchita. We would like to thank Michele Russell-White and her family for being here with us in these difficult times. We would also like to thank Jorge and Melba Morales for their unconditional love to Conchita, as well as Aben Yamil, Ana Margarita and Lulu Mairena for always taking the time to visit their Tia Conchita. Conchita le encantaba viajar era su actividad favorita, visitó México, toda Europa, Central y América del Sur. Le encantaba jugar canasta y ver sus novelas, una de sus caricaturas favoritas era Tom & Jerry y hacia el final de su vida su canal favorito era el Disney Channel. Conchita fue precedido en la muerte por su esposo, José Ángel Plazaola Sr., su hijo Ángel René, y ñieta Brenda Ninoska. Su hermana Aminta Guadamuz vudia de Mairena. Los que se quedaron a cuidar su memoria son sus 6 hijos Xiomara Auxiliadora, José Ángel Jr, Nydia Magdalena, Brenda Concepcion, Jorge Manuel y José Abraham. Su 21 nietos: Ricky, José Ángel III, Myriam, Isaac, Anielka, Alvaro, Frank, Edwin, Edward, Nydia, Thelma, Bayardo, Gema, Jasmine, Abraham, Eduardo, Lygia, Sandra, Steve, Esmeralda, y Carlos Ernesto y sus 27 bisnietos. Su hermano Carlos Eduardo, esposa Francisca y sus hijos. Xiomara y Ricky le gustaría agradeser a su sobrina María Pong y familia su cariño para su Tia Conchita. A Michele Russell-White y familia por estar aquí con nosotros en estos tiempos difíciles. Nos gustaría tambien dar las gracias a Jorge y Melba Morales por su amor incondicional para Conchita. Y también a su sobrino Aben Yamil, Ana Margarita y Lulu Mairena por siempre tomar el tiempo para visitar a su tía Conchita.
