Gary Stevenson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Gary Thomas Stevenson, 64, left us on September 30, 2017 to be with our Heavenly Father. Preceded in death by his father Rex Kenneth Stevenson and brother-in-law Paul Andre Musslewhite. Survived by his loving wife Susan; mother Oma Jean Stevenson; brother Rodney Stevenson, wife Kelli; sister Suzanne Musslewhite; daughters: Jennifer Stevenson and Jamie Aldridge, husband Grey, Stepson Mike Coleman; grandchildren: Jaydn, Devyn & Kainen Whitsitt, Lillie & Brinlie Aldridge, Aubrey Coleman. Uncle to 5 nieces & nephews and 8 great nieces & nephews. Gary was born on October 2, 1952 to Ken & Oma Jean Stevenson at St. Joseph Hospital. He graduated from Sharpstown HS and was an outstanding athlete. While attending Blinn College, he was drafted by the Minnesota Twins. After baseball, he established Stevenson Insulation Company that he owned and operated for 40 years. Gary was the Vice President of Stevenson Enterprises, Inc. Commercial property investors. Gary loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his family dearly, always had a smile on his face, and had compassion for everyone he met. Everyone loved him and he will be greatly missed. An outdoor memorial service will be held Saturday October 7, 2017 - 4 p.m. 10307 Altonbury Lane, Houston 77031. A Celebration of Life will follow.
