Hudson Hughes Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Hudson "Beno" Hughes was born on July 29, 1955 on the island of Antigua, West Indies. At the age of 13, his family moved to St. Croix, US Virgin Islands where he was raised. Hudson met his beloved wife in high school and they married on May 26th of 1982, after moving to Houston, Texas. Hudson Hughes passed away on Saturday August 30th in the presence of his loving family members. Hudson was preceded in death by his father James Hughes, and brother; Morrison Hughes. Hudson is survived by his wife Patricia Hughes, son Sadon Hughes, daughter Angelique Spence, mother Lynette Hughes, sisters; Esther Hughes-Davis, Jennifer Addae, Velda Hughes-Greenidge, Denise Hughes, and Janil Hughes-Rosado; brother Ivan Hughes, grandson Landon Hughes; daughter-in-law Shameka Hughes, and countless nieces and nephews. A memorial viewing will be held at Distinctive Life Funeral Home located at 5455 Dashwood Street, Bellaire, TX 77401 from 4:00 PM to 8:00PM on Friday, September 5th, 2014. Funeral services will be held at Covenant Glenn United Methodist Church at 401 Present Street, Missouri City, TX 77489 on Saturday, September 6th, 2014 starting at 1:00PM with a reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Glenn United Methodist Church 401 Present Street, Missouri City, TX 77489
