Regina Thomas Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Regina Gail Thomas was born December 1st, 1960 in Middletown, Connecticut to John and Betty Thomas. She was baptized at Shiloh Baptist Church in Middletown, Connecticut at an early age. She later became the youth choir director. She graduated from Middletown High School in 1978. She received an Associate's Degree in Business from Middlesex Community College. She graduated from the University of Connecticut receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Regina married Corbin Cooper in 1994. She worked for Ensign Bickford until she fell ill. She went back to the University of Connecticut and earned a Masters Degree in Accounting. She moved to Texas in 1998. Regina joined Friendship Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor C. Paul McBride. She later became a member of Berean Bible Fellowship Church under the leadership of Pastor Kenneth T. West. She was a member of the choir until her passing. Regina was dedicated to her nephew Robert Muckle and her church family. She was definitely a child of the King. She is preceded in death by her sister, Tonya Harvey. She leaves behind her loving mother Betty Thomas of Plano, TX, and her father John Thomas of New Britain, Connecticut and two loving sisters, Linda Thomas of Plano, TX, and Van Neal of New Britain, Connecticut. She also leaves three brothers, Larry Thomas of College Park, Maryland, and Leonard Thomas of Houston, TX. She leaves a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones. Her favorite saying was "But God" and her favorite song was "Take me to the King." A Memorial Service for Regina will be held at Berean Bible Fellowship Church 1937 B. West Parker Rd. Plano, TX 75023on May 24th, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Reception to be held following the service in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, please contact Sade Edwards for any monetary donations.
