Charles Richard Bertschi, born May 5, 1941 and known to most as Chuck; passed from this earth to return to his heavenly home on July 29, 2019.  His passing was peaceful and he was surrounded by family and friends and wrapped in the love of God.

Chuck is survived by his much loved wife of 54 years, Nancy, his sister Kay Bertschi, his children, son C.A. Bertschi and his wife Kelly, daughter Vicki Gonzalez and her husband Daniel, and his five grandchildren; Austin, Aidan, Justin, Jordan and  Gabby whom he loved dearly.

Disciples Christian Church was blessed to have Chuck as a faithful and active member for over 17 years.  He was a Model A enthusiast and  a proud member of the Dallas Model A Ford Club for many years up to his death.  The love of the Model A Ford also benefited the Ford Motor Company where he worked for 36 years, retiring in 2000.

Services will be held at Disciples Christian Church, 2001 Independence Pkwy, Plano, TX  75075 on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers his family requests donations be made in Chucks honor to Disciples Christian Church (Building Fund) or to the Parkinson's Voice Project in Richardson
