Andrew moved to Houston with his family in 1971 when he was four years old. His parents became members at Congregation Emanu El. Shortly after, he was enrolled in Sunday School growing up learning about Judaism from a youthful Rabbi Roy Walter. As a child his family belonged to the Evelyn Rubinstein Jewish Community Center. While attending Bellaire High School he was a member of the Lubel Chapter in AZA, a B’nai B’rith Youth Organization.
Andrew graduated Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in spring of 1991 with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Funeral Service. He is currently licensed in the State of Texas as a Funeral Director and Embalmer. He is also a member of the Texas Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association. Andrew devotes his hard work and efforts in assisting all families in their time of need. His compassion, attention to details, and personalized service makes him a valuable asset.
Andrew enjoys attending his monthly Houston Jewish Chamber of Commerce breakfasts and attending Shabbat Services Friday nights at Congregation Emanu El. He is expecting his second grandchild in August this year.
